‘me too.’ PSA Premiere & Panel in Philadelphia

What do we owe Black children?

Black children deserve more than survival. They deserve joy, safety, and a future built with them in mind. In a world that often adultifies, neglects, and silences Black girls, we’re gathering to ask hard questions, share truths, and imagine new possibilities.

Join us on Thursday, June 12, 2025, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Barnes Foundation in Philadelphia, where we will premiere the first of two PSAs for our “What do we owe Black children?” campaign.

The Rules,” created in collaboration with VersusTV, highlights the adultification of Black girls and the common experiences that inflict both physical and psychological harm on Black children, reinforcing rape culture narratives and endangering the safety of all children. Following the PSA premiere, we’ll host a critical panel discussion that will bring together powerful voices from across movements, including organizers, healers, educators, and survivors.

Join us as as we explore how we can show up for Black children in this moment. From confronting systemic violence to uplifting cultural care, we’ll ground in what it means to love, protect, and invest in Black childhood and safety.

Whether you’re a parent, youth advocate, artist, or community member, you’re invited into this space of learning, connection, and collective responsibility.

SPACE IS LIMITED! RSVP by completing the form below!

The Premiere + Panel will be livestreamed and recorded, so feel free to register even if you can’t attend in-person in Philly!
