The mission of 1in6 is to help men who have had unwanted or abusive sexual experiences live healthier, happier lives. Their mission also includes serving family members, friends, partners, and service providers by providing information and support resources on the web and in the community. They offer 24-hour support in the form of a national online helpline and online groups for male survivors and those who care about them.

Malesurvivor.org

Malesurvivor.org offers support and resources to male sexual assault survivors, their families, and their allies. In addition to creating physical safe spaces for male survivors to connect and share, Malesurvivor.org also connects survivors to a database of counselors located nationally and internationally.

National Center on Elder Abuse

The National Center on Elder Abuse (NCEA) serves as a national resource center dedicated to the prevention of elder mistreatment. They offer a list of resources for every state, including state reporting numbers, government agencies, state laws, state-specific data and statistics, and other resources. The list also includes hotlines to report suspected elder abuse, neglect, or exploitation in each state.

National Child Abuse Hotline

The National Child Abuse Hotline provides offers crisis intervention, information, and referrals to thousands of emergency, social service, and support resources. All calls are confidential. A centralized call center provides the caller with the option of talking to a counselor. They are also connected to a language line that can provide service in over 140 languages.

National Coalition of Anti-Violence Programs

The National Coalition of Anti-Violence Programs works to prevent, respond to, and end all forms of violence against and within LGBTQ communities. They are a national coalition of local member programs, affiliate organizations and individual affiliates who create systemic and social change. They strive to increase power, safety and resources through data analysis, policy advocacy, education and technical assistance.

National Domestic Violence Hotline

Through this hotline an advocate can provide local direct service resources (safehouse shelters, transportation, casework assistance) and crisis intervention. Interpreter services available in 170 languages. The National Domestic Violence Hotline also partners with the Abused Deaf Women’s Advocacy Center to provide a videophone option.

National Health Resource Center on Domestic Violence

Improves health care response to domestic violence by working with health care practitioners, administrators, domestic violence experts, survivors, and policymakers

National Human Trafficking Resource Center

The National Human Trafficking Resource Center is a national multilingual anti-trafficking hotline. A caller can report a tip and be connected with anti-trafficking services in their area. A caller can also call this hotline and request training and technical assistance, general information, or specific anti-trafficking resources.

National Indigenous Women’s Resource Center

Native nonprofit that addresses domestic violence for Indian women in conjunction with the National Indian Resource Center (NIRC)
